Chintan, which means “thought,” “meditation,” and “reflection,” is one of the closest and dearly ideology very near to the thought-process of Sri Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy to reach the needy and the poor in terms of material and spirituality. Swami Vivekananda said that religion is not for the hungry stomachs, it is the one who strives to uplift himself by dint of his hard work wherein one can see the dwelling of the divine within to carry forward the torch of spirituality for the future generations. It is this thought-process of Sri Vemireddy garu that has seen the genesis of this idea, which seems very close to his thinking largesse. The sound principles on which this organ of VPR Foundation came into being are: the empowerment of the rural poor through several out-reaching activities, the development of the standards of living by human transformation, building the moral and spiritual character with an inclusive outlook of tolerance, amity and trust.
Through Chintan, the Foundation takes up activities to reach out to the people who need spiritual support, solace in the Almighty, peace to the mankind, promoting a common sense of brotherhood and to see to it that living is made a uncomplicated by virtuous thinking and upholding moral values.
