The warm heart of Sri Vemireddy throbs for the poor and the deprived. As is his avowed practice to extend all help unsung, Vemireddy has donated large sums of money to help people with dreadful diseases.
A widening list of charitable activities bears its torch to show the magnanimity and his colossal heights of humanity in its humbleness. While being the Secretary to the Tamilnadu Spastic Society, Chennai; he has been of immense support and extending all means to help 1600 children suffering from multiple disorders and mental ailments. He generously donated Rs. 15 lakhs to procure the Scanner and Doppler equipment in Jayabharat Hospital, which diagnoses heart ailments. This is of immense help to the poor, needy and less fortunate sections of the society. He donated Rs. 5 Lakhs to Swarna Bharat Trust, Nellore, to help the handicapped people with artificial organs prepared by the trust. His frontline help is gratefully acknowledged by scores of people who have suffered from liver disorders and could breathe new life just because of him.
VPR Vaidyam wishes to widen its efforts to help more people through its institutionalized efforts by establishing a Super-Speciality Hospital. Free medical facilities to the poor and the deprived sections is not the only drive for the trust, but it has plans for spreading hygiene and public cleanliness in moving the standard-bar of public health improvement in the rural areas.
